The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable u/s 306/34 of IPC.

Allegedly, the petitioner along with one co-accused person are said to have exploited the daughter of the informant (deceased) financially and physically on pretext of marriage and when the deceased pressurized the co-accused to solemnize marriage with her, he along with the petitioner harassed her physically and mentally due to which she has committed suicide by hanging herself.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner is quite innocent and has committed no offence. He has been falsely implicated in this case due to ulterior motive. No such

As per FIR, the allegation against the petitioner is that he is the mediator. There is no specific allegation against the petitioner to physically assault or harass the deceased. It is further submitted that similarly situated co-accused person Sanjiv Kumar has been granted bail by this Court vide order dated 14.11.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 55402 of 2024. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent. 5.

Learned APP for the State and learned counsel for the informant opposed the prayer for bail.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the fact that similarly situated co-accused person has been granted bail by this Court and the petitioner is the mediator in the marriage of co-accused and deceased, let the above named petitioner, be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court below where the case is pending/Successor Court in connection with Motihari (Town) P.S. Case No.662 of 2023, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
