2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sadar (Sonki) P.S. Case No. 538/2022 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 307, 326A, 504, 506, 498A/ 34 of I.P.C. and Section 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act and later on Section 304B was added in the charge-sheet.

3. As per the prosecution case, petitioner along with his family members had committed murder of his wife.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has falsely been implicated in the case. From the statement of the victim girl, it appears that the deceased was burnt by the petitioner and his family members. Learned counsel

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.69187 of 2025(4) dt.18-12-2025 2/2 further submits that the victim has given a false statement. Learned counsel further submits that he has clean antecedent and he is in custody since 31.05.2025. The petitioner undertakes to co-operate in the case/ trial.

5. Learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner on the ground that there is direct allegation against him that he along with his family members had killed the victim.

6. Considering the gravity of the offence and the dying declaration of the victim, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
