====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR and HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE NANI TAGIA ORAL ORDER (Per: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR) 01-11-2023 Pursuant to the order passed by this Court on 19.10.2023, the father-in-law of the petitioner has appeared and has assured this Court that he shall not create any impediment in the happiness of his daughter who has, of her own volition, married the petitioner.

2. He has further assured this Court that he

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.1688 of 2023(4) dt.01-11-2023 2/2 shall have the marriage solemnized and shall also strive towards a cordial relation between two families.

3. The apprehension of the learned Advocate of the petitioner that the cases filed against each other by the parties might cause some impediment, does not have any bearing when the father-in-law of the petitioner has taken a resolve to end all hostilities, which therefore means that cases filed by both the parties against each other would be compounded/withdrawn at the earliest.

4. This petition is being disposed off but with the rider that in case the legally wedded wife of the petitioner is unnecessarily prevented from joining him against her wishes, this petition could be revived at the instance of the petitioner.
