JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 28-06-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and State. The petitioner is in custody in connection with Gaya (Muffasil) P.S. case No. 143 of 2018 for the offence registered Punishable under Section 30 (A) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent. Petitioner is a lady and as such she deserves treatment in the matter of grant of bail. In view of the cognizance of Cr.P.C. the petitioner is in custody since 6.5.2018 and as such she has completed more than 1 1⁄2 months.
Considering the fact that the petitioner has remained in custody for more than 1 1⁄2 months and she has no criminal antecedent, let the petitioner, named above is directed to be
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.36663 of 2018(2) dt.28-06-2018 2/2 released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Excise, Gaya, in connection with Muffasil P.S.
