2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 406, 467, 468, 471, 341, 323, 504 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is a person with clean antecedent and is in custody since 01.06.2025 and the informant alleges that the accused persons including the petitioner in the name of getting government employment took Rs.6,50,000/- from the informant and similarly collected an amount of Rs.58,95,000/- from 13 persons and gave forged joining letters of Income Tax and
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.67739 of 2025(3) dt.25-02-2026 2/3 Railways. Thereafter, a panchayati was held and the accused persons accepted their guilt based on which an agreement was entered on a stamp paper that accused will return an amount of Rs.25,00,000/- by 23.06.2024 and rest amount in installments, but then the amount was not returned.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been falsely implicated in the instant case by the informant. It is next submitted that petitioner is a senior citizen and has remained a person with clean antecedent. It is also submitted that even presuming what has been alleged is true without admitting then the informant and persons similarly situated like the informant are also culpable of committing an offence as informant himself accepts that for getting government job through back door, he paid an amount of Rs.6,50,000/- . It is submitted that petitioner is denying that he received any amount from the informant or any other person in name of giving job but the informant by instituting the instant FIR accepts that for seeking job through back door, he had paid some amount which amply demonstrates that an illegality was committed by the informant and persons like him but then police in mechanical manner investigates and implicates.
5. Learned APP opposes the bail application.

Considering the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner, let petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Bettiah, West Champaran in connection with Shrinagar P.S. Case No.102 of 2024.
