The petitioner has preferred present writ petition for a direction upon the respondent Bihar School Examination Board, Patna (hereinafter referred to as 'the Board') for making necessary correction in the name of the School mentioned in the Matriculation Examination Certificate in the year 1992 and further for issuance of original Intermediate Certificate.

3. A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of Board.

4. Mr. Sunil Kumar Mandal, learned Advocate for the Board has fairly submitted that now the respondent Board has rectified the details of School of the petitioner in his Matriculation certificate and the information of which has been sent vide letter no. BP 0061 dated 15.12.2025.

5. This fact has been admitted by the learned Advocate for the petitioner. However, he further submits that till date the original Intermediate Certificate of the petitioner has not been issued despite he submitted the request application along with necessary fee at the Regional Office of the Board at Sheikhpura.

6. Mr. Mandal, learned Advocate for the Board further clarified that the petitioner was required to file application before the Regional Office of the Board at Munger. Since no application has ever been submitted before the Regional Office of the Board at Munger, the original certificate could not have been issued.

7. Having considered the submissions advanced and taking note of the limited grievance of the petitioner, this Court grants liberty to the petitioner to file appropriate application along with the requisite fee before the Regional Office of the Board at Munger preferably within a period of two

8. In case, such application is filed by the petitioner, the respondent Board shall issue original Intermediate Certificate in favour of the petitioner after completing all the formalities, preferably within a further period of four weeks.
