In this case, the petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Kishanganj P.S. Case No. 187 of 2022, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 394 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per allegation, the informant after withdrawing rupees 3,40000/- from ICICI Bank was returning to his house, meanwhile, some miscreants attacked on him and attempted to snatch away his bag. The petitioner was also amongst them who was apprehended by the mob.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that he is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case.

From perusal of the FIR it appears that the petitioner was arrested at the spot. Three cases are pending against him except the present one.
