JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 19-02-2020 The petitioner was granted bail by this Court vide order dated 22.01.2019, passed in Cr. Misc. No. 2811 of 2019, in connection with Gopalganj Nagar P.S. Case No. 648 of 2018 with a direction to surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from he date of passing of the order and furnishing bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has approached this Court through the present petition seeking extension of time for surrendering before the court below.

For the reasons stated in the application, the order dated 22.01.2019 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 2811 of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.65717 of 2019(2) dt.19-02-2020 2/2 2019 is modified to the extent that if the petitioner surrenders before the court below within a period of four weeks from today, he shall be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gopalganj in connection with Gopalganj Nagar P.S. Case No. 648 of 2018, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.

With the aforesaid modification, the application stands allowed.
