JUSTICE SANDEEP KUMAR ORAL ORDER 27-02-2024 Heard learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State as well as learned counsel appearing on behalf of the informant.

2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Singheswar P.S. Case No. 131/2023 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 302/201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The deceased was killed by unknown persons. During investigation, it has come that the petitioner and other co-accused conspired and killed the deceased brutally. The petitioner is in custody since 17.05.2023.

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

5. Considering the role of the petitioner in the crime, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner for the present.

6. The trial Court is directed to expedite the trial. If there is no progress in the trial then the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail.
