Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and State. The petitioner is in custody in connection with Excise Case No.1085 of 2017 (Pali P.S. case no. 49 of 2017) for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. The petitioner is in custody since 17.05.2018 in connection with seizure of 17.5 litres of liquor.

Considering the fact that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he has remained in custody for more than

No.40255 of 2018 (2) dt.10-07-2018 2/2 one and half months, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II, Jehanabad in connection with Excise Case No.1085 of 2017 (Pali P.S. Case No. 49 of 2017).
