For the Petitioner/s : Mr. Ramesh Kumar Singh For the Opposite Party/s : Mr. Dr. Kumar Uday Pratap ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 10-01-2018 Heard the parties.

Earlier the prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected by this Court, vide order dated 25.8.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No.40338 of 2017, with an observation that he may renew his prayer for bail after framing of charge in this case. Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that he is in custody for seven months and the charge has already been framed.

Heard learned A.P.P. who has opposed the prayer for bail on the ground of fact that there is allegation of assault against him and the injuries are grievous in nature.

Having heard both sides and in view of the facts as stated above, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.534 of 2018 (2) dt.10-01-2018 2/2 however, the learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial and try to conclude it within a period of six months.
