===================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 09-07-2018 The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Pirbahore P.S. Case No. 464 of 2009 dated 23.11.2009 instituted for the offences under Sections 467, 468, 471, 420, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
A letter purportedly issued from the Office of the Governor in his capacity as Chancellor addressed to the ViceChancellor of the Patna University was found to be fake on authentication. By the aforesaid letter, some of the persons wanted to take admission in various courses of the Patna University. The petitioner is one of such candidates who had applied for Diploma in Safety Management. Taking into account the aforesaid facts, several such candidates who had applied for their admission in various courses have been
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.39644 of 2018 (2) dt.09-07-2018 2/2 made accused in this case.
The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that some of such candidates have been granted bail by different Benches of this Court.
The petitioner could not take admission. It has also been submitted that some of the other candidates who had taken admission in various courses have completed their studies and have obtained certificates also.
Regard being had to the nature of accusation and the period of custody of the petitioner which is from 22.05.2018, he, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousands) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Patna in connection with Pirbahore P.S. Case No. 464 of 2009.
