2. The petitioner is in judicial custody in connection with Matihani P.S. Case No. 46/2021 for the offence punishable under Sections 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code lodged on 08.04.2021 by the informant, Anita Devi.

3. As per the prosecution story, the informant alleged that the victim girl was married to this petitioner but was tortured for dowry and it increased once in the year 2017, the female child took birth in the family. Ultimately, in the year 2021, the lady left this world. Admittedly, the husband cannot exonerate himself from the responsibility. Worst, the death took place in the year 2021 and despite rejection of the anticipatory

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.72453 of 2024(2) dt.04-10-2024 2/2 bail in the same year, the petitioner chose three years to come into judicial custody.

4. In that background, no relief can be granted. The bail application stands rejected.
