2. The petitioner in paragraph no. 1 of the present writ petition has sought inter alia following relief(s), which is reproduced hereinafter:

"1. That this is an application for issuance of an appropriate writ/ writs, order/ orders, direction/ directions for commanding the respondents to fix the salary in revised pay scale of 9300 - 34800 grade pay 4200 with effect from 01.01.2006 as per 6th pay revision which was wrongly fixed in pay scale 520020200 Grade Pay 2800 and make payment of arrear of salary and further pray to pay 18% compounding interest on his dues arrear of salary for delay payment and For further any other reliefs/ reliefs, direction/ directions, order/orders may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of this case."

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that petitioner has made specific statement in paragraphs no. 5 and 6 that he has represented before the District Magistrate-cum-Collector, Saran (Chapra) on 23.07.2023 and, thereafter, he has reminded him for considering his case on 24.08.2023 for giving benefit of 6th Pay Revision and on account of inaction of the District Magistrate-cumCollector, Saran (Chapra), the petitioner has been denied pay scale of Rs. 9300-34800/-.

4. Considering the aforesaid submission made on behalf of the petitioner, the District Magistrate-cum-Collector, Saran (Chapra) is directed to forthwith consider the case of the petitioner and dispose of the representation, which is pending before him since long time, expeditiously, in accordance with law.

5. Accordingly, the present writ petition is disposed of.
