The petitioner has been in custody since 02.04.2018 in connection with Jandaha P.S. Case No. 216/2017 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 356/379/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was not named in the First Information Report, but subsequently, on the basis of the confessional statement made before the police by one Amresh Kumar@ Bhuletan Singh, the petitioner has been implicated in connection with the present case. He further submits that till date, no T.I. Parade has been held and nothing has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. In view of the aforementioned facts and
