JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 16-06-2020 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State via video conferencing. By way of the present application, the petitioner has sought for pre-arrest bail in connection with Janta Bazar P.S. Case No.114 of 2016 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 304B read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code. Considering the gravity of the offence and the allegation made against the petitioner that he subjected the complainant to cruelty for non-fulfilment of demand of Rs.2,00,000/- as a result of which, she was forced to commit suicide and the materials collected during investigation, I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail.
