The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Begusarai Town P.S. Case No. 687 of 2017 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 294, 354, 427, 379, 504 and 509/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 8 of the POSCO Act.
The allegation is regarding the accused persons including the petitioner herein having harassed the daughter of the informant as well as the friends of the daughter of the informant. It is further alleged that the said accused persons had also torn the cloth of the daughter of the informant.
The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.34103 of 2018 (3) dt.23-07-2018 2/2 present case. The learned counsel further submits that the petitioner is ready to be imposed any conditions for the purpose of grant of bail. Lastly it is submitted that the petitioner is having a clean antecedent and is languishing in custody since 27.03.2018. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, POSCO, District-Begusarai in connection with Nagar P.S. Case No. 687 of 2017.
It is directed that the petitioner would mark his attendance before the Officer In-Charge of the concerned Police Station at 10 A.M. on each and every Monday of the month and in the event of his failure on three consecutive occasions to mark his attendance, the present privilege of bail shall stand cancelled automatically.
