Petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Laukahi P.S. Case No.88 of 2024, registered for the offence punishable u/s 25(1-B)a, 26, 35 of the Arms Act. 3.

Allegation against the petitioner is that from his motorcycle, one country made pistol has been recovered and the petitioner and a co-accused are said to have fled away leaving behind the motorcycle on seeing the police.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner is quite innocent and has not committed any offence. He has been falsely implicated in this case due to ulterior motive. No incriminating article has been recovered from the conscious physical possession of the petitioner. He has no

Learned APP for the State opposed the prayer for bail by submitting that there allegation against the petitioner. 6.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances and the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The prayer for grant of anticipatory bail on his behalf is hereby rejected.

This application is accordingly dismissed.
