Petitioner is an accused in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 20, 22 and 29 of the NDPS Act.

It appears that earlier bail application of the petitioner was twice rejected by a Bench of this Court vide order dated 20.11.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 31816 of 2017 and order dated 29.08.2019 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 31816 of 2017. Trial court's report dated 02.01.2020 received in light of order dated 04.12.2019, discloses that altogether three witnesses have already been examined by the prosecution and the trial is likely to be concluded within 10 months. In view of the trial court's report, the prayer for bail is refused.
