The petitioner is apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a) and 37(c) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The prosecution case is that 10.440 litres of country made liquor was recovered from the shop of the petitioner. Considering the nature of recovery, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. However, taking into account the quantity of recovery, it is a case for consideration of the prayer for regular bail by the learned Court below in case the petitioner surrenders within a period of six weeks and prays for the same in connection with G.O. Case No. 488 of 2019 arising out of Laheriyasarai P.S. Case No.185
