Petitioner apprehends his arrest in Tajpur Halai P.S. Case No. 202 of 2017 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 394 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is submitted that the F.I.R. is filed against the unknown. In the F.I.R., it is alleged that three unknown persons snatched the mobile phone and Rs. 2,000/- from the possession of the informant while he was going on his bike along with his cousin uncle Chandan Das.

The case diary has been received.

The petitioner has mentioned in para-9 of the bail petition that the name of the petitioner has transpired on the basis of confessional statements of co-accused , namely, Anant Kumar

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.61785 of 2017(3) dt.02-02-2018 2/3 and Shivendra Kumar Giri who were apprehended and both of them have already been granted regular bail by the Court below itself.

Learned A.P.P. for the State, after looking into the case diary submits that no T. I.P. has been held in this case. In the facts and circumstances of the case, prayer of the petitioner for grant of anticipatory bail is allowed. In the event of surrender/arrest of the petitioner, named above, within six weeks from today in connection with Tajpur Halai P.S. case no. 202 of 2017, he shall be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Samastipur, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr. P. C.
