The petitioner, who is in custody, seeks bail in connection with Kasma P.S. Case No. 05 of 2017 registered for the offence punishable under Section 386 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 17 of the C.L.A. Act.

Informant in his written complaint lodged before the police has stated that on 07.01.2017 at about 2.15 PM he received a call on his mobile and a ransom of Rs. 5 lacs was demanded by one Ravindra Yadav.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he has been falsely implicated in this case and the two mobile from which ransom was demanded has been seized by

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.49595 of 2018(2) dt.20-08-2018 2/2 the police from the possession of two different persons Upendra Sao and Lalan Choudhary as is apparent from the seizure list enclosed with this petition. Petitioner is in custody since 15.11.2017.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner named above be released on bail upon furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Aurangabad, in connection with Kasma P.S. Case No. 05 of 2017.
