JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 26-09-2019 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent State. The mother of the petitioner died in harness on 31.01.2015. She was a Panchayat Teacher in Panchayat Raj Nij Gehua, Block Jalalgarh, District Purnea. The petitioner submitted his application for compassionate appointment in the prescribed format on 30.07.2019. The matter is pending before the respondent authorities and no decision has been taken on the request of the petitioner for compassionate appointment.

Patna High Court CWJC No.19890 of 2019(2) dt.26-09-2019 2/2 Considering the object of the compassionate appointment, the Court direct the respondents to take appropriate decision with regard to the claim of the petitioner for compassionate appointment at the earliest, preferably within a period of 60 days from the receipt/production of a copy of this order.
