Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

As per the allegation in the FIR, 162 litres of IMFL is said to have been recovered from the Maruti Car from which the petitioner and one another are said to have escaped. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is neither the owner of the said Maruti Car and the allegation of the petitioner escaping is also false and concocted. It is further submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 28.06.2019.
