The petitioner is in custody in connection with Amas P.S. Case No. 260 of 2017 for the offenses under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 341, 504, 506, 435, 427 of the Indian Penal Code and 27 of Arms Act and 17 of C.L.A. Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegation against the petitioner in the instant case is that he is one of the member of Naxalite team involved in threatening a contractor with dire consequences. The petitioner was not named in the F.I.R. He is in custody since 31.03.2018. Considering the fact that the petitioner has remained in custody for more than one and half year, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Let the petitioner, above named,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.63272 of 2019(2) dt.17-10-2019 2/2 be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Sherghati, Gaya, in connection with Amas P.S. Case No. 260 of 2017, subject to the condition that one of the bailor shall be elected representative of local body.
