Petitioners apprehend their arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 307/354B/379 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the specific allegation of assault and attempt to disrob informant's wife is against other accused persons and petitioners are only alleged to have abused the informant. Police after investigation submitted final form but differing with the same, court below took cognizance of the offence also against the petitioners. Petitioners have got no criminal antecedent.
