2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Supaul P.S. Case No. 507 of 2020 for the offence under sections 457 and 380 of the Indian Penal Code lodged on 21.07.2020 by the informant, Kaili Devi.

3. As per the prosecution story, the informant alleged that on 20.07.2020 in the mid-night, while she was sleeping, a person with covered face entered and committed theft of cash/ornament. While trying to escape, the veil on the face got removed and she identified the person as this petitioner. This led to the FIR.

4. Though learned counsel for the petitioner tried to impress upon this Court about his innocence, learned State

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.70293 of 2025(2) dt.14-10-2025 2/2 counsel, Mr. Jitendra Kumar Singh has taken this Court to paragraph-3 to show that he has criminal antecedent of the same nature and the case is of the year 2020.

5. Considering the submissions of the parties, it is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail.

6. The anticipatory bail application stands rejected.

7. If, however, the petitioner surrenders within four weeks, the concerned Court shall take up the matter and dispose it of preferably on the same day.
