JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 15-10-2019 This application, for grant of anticipatory bail, arises out of Pranpur P.S. Case No. 114/2019, disclosing offences under Sections 341, 323, 498(A), 494/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner happens to be husband of the informant and allegation against him is of subjecting the informant to torture with respect to demand of dowry..

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that entire allegation is false and concocted and he is still ready to keep the informant with full honour and dignity and he has taken this stand in the court below also but in spite of that no step for concilliation between the parties has been taken.

Having heard both sides, considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this application is disposed of with direction to the petitioner to surrender in the court below within a period of two weeks' from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, on which, the court below shall release the petitioner on provisional bail for a period of four months, during which, period the court below shall issue notice to the informant and on her appearance, the court below shall refer the matter to District Mediation Centre so as to resolve the dispute between the parties and after receipt of the report from Mediation Centre and on being satisfied with the conduct of the parties, he will either confirm the provisional bail of the petitioner or will pass any appropriate order including cancellation of provisional bail of the petitioner.
