The petitioner is apprehending arrest in connection with Hajipur Sadar P.S. Case No. 462 of 2017 for offences under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 342, 323, 504, 506, 324, 307, 353, 188, 333, 427, 379, 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code, Section 27 Arms Act and 4/40(8) BMMC Act. It is alleged that in connection with illegal storage of sand when the police party arrived at the place where the sand was stored illegally, 30-40 persons equipped with lethal weapons suddenly attacked the police party. The police has named 23 persons involved in such activities out of which the name of the petitioner is at Sl. No. 14. It is further alleged that the miscreants fled away after opening fire which caused injury to Jugal Singh, Sunil Ram and Jogeshwar Singh. Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent. There is omnibus

He submits that the petitioner is resident of nearby village and he was simply passing from the road side where the alleged occurrence took place and as such he has been named in this case.

Considering the fact that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and there is no specific allegation against him, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of arrest or surrender within four weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Vaishali at Hajipur in connection with Hajipur Sadar P.
