2. The petitioner apprehends her arrest in connection with Andar P.S. Case No. 167 of 2025, instituted for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.
3. There is recovery of 27 litres illicit liquor from the house of the petitioner. Petitioner managed to flee away from the spot.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case on the basis of suspicion. Petitioner was not present on the spot. It is submitted that the alleged house is joint family property. Petitioner has no concern with the seized liquor. There
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.69687 of 2025(2) dt.13-10-2025 2/2 is no independent witness to the seizure-list. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent. She undertakes to co-operate in the investigation and trial.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, in the event of arrest or surrender before the Court below within six weeks from today, the Petitioner, above-named, be released on bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Exclusive Special Excise Court-I, Siwan in connection with Andar P.S. Case No. 167 of 2025, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 482 (2) of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (B.N.S.S.), 2023.
