The petitioner retired as Sub Inspector of Police in 2010. With a grievance that he was not allowed the benefit of 3rd ACP, which he was entitled to, till the date of his retirement, he has filed the present writ application. In compliance of the order of this Court dated 22.11.2019, a counter affidavit has been filed, from which, it transpires that the petitioner's case has been recommended for grant of 3rd MACP by letter dated 02.12.2019
Patna High Court CWJC No.20379 of 2019(3) dt.06-12-2019 2/2 issued by the office of the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Eastern Region, Bhagalpur, addressed to the Inspector General (HQ), Bihar.

Considering the above stand taken on behalf of the respondents, this writ application is disposed of with a direction that let a final decision be taken by the respondents and consequential benefits be given to the petitioner, in terms of arrears of salary and revised pensionery benefits within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
