Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Chhauradano (Mahuawa) P.S. Case No. 183 of 2017 registered for the offence punishable under sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is not named in the first information report. Petitioner was neither arrested on the spot nor anything has been recovered from his conscious possession. He has been implicated in this case merely because he is the owner of the vehicle in question. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Special Judge, Excise, East Champaran, Motihari, in connection with Chhauradano (Mahuawa) P.S. Case No. 183 of 2017.
