1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.
2. The petitioners have preferred this application for grant of anticipatory bail apprehending their arrest in connection with Mushrigharari P.S. Case no. 54 of 2023, registered under sections 498A, 341, 323, 379, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
3. As per the prosecution case, the informant states that he married his daughter to the son of the petitioners herein on 22.11.2021. Various articles by way of gift were given at the time of marriage. Soon after the marriage, the accused persons started to torture his daughter. His son-in-law, who had a

No.73331 of 2024(2) dt.11-11-2024 2/3 love affair with one another girl used to torture his daughter for non-fulfillment of demand of dowry by way of motorcycle and Rs. 2 lakhs in cash. It is further stated that both his son-in-law and his samdhi ie the petitioner no. 1 herein, drank liquor and asked his daughter to get money from him. He apprehends that she may be killed.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have been falsely implicated in the case for the reason that they happen to be the father-in-law and mother-inlaw of the daughter of the informant. The allegations levelled in the FIR are false and concocted besides being mainly against the son-in-law of the informant ie the son of the petitioners herein. The petitioners have no criminal antecedent.
5. The application for anticipatory bail is opposed by learned A.P.P. for the State.
6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the nature of allegations against the petitioners in the F.I.R., the petitioners being the father-in-law and mother-in-law of the daughter of the informant together with their not having any criminal antecedent, it is directed that both the petitioners, above named, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four
