3/4 CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 28-01-2021 Since both the writ applications involve the same issue, they have been heard together and are being disposed of by this common order.

The grievance of the petitioners in the present writ applications is that after completion of the course, the petitioners have not been given opportunity to modify the synopsis within the time. Petitioners were not communicated the decision of Postgraduate Research Council (in short, 'PGRC' with regard to the modification of the synopsis. Later on, on enquiry it transpired that PGRC decided to modify the synopsis. Thereafter the petitioners submitted their proper applications for modification of the synopsis.

Learned counsel for the University submits that the matter would be examined by PGRC in the next meeting. In view of the stand taken by the University, both the writ applications stand disposed of. Postgraduate Research Council will take appropriate decision in accordance with the Regulation of the University as well as UGC for consideration of the case of the petitioners for modification of the synopsis at the earliest preferably within one month from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

4/4 Accordingly, both the writ applications are disposed of.
