JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 22-07-2019 The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the GPF amount paid to the petitioner is not correct and some more amount is required to be paid. It is further submitted that though the arrears of salary and other retirement benefit has been calculated by the Civil Surgeon-cum-Chief Medical Officer, Bhagalpur vide order dated 20.01.2015 contained in Memo No. 215, but the same has not been paid.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the present writ petition stands disposed of with a direction

Patna High Court CWJC No.1094 of 2018(5) dt.22-07-2019 2/2 to the Civil Surgeon-cum-Chief Medical Officer, Bhagalpur to make payment of the arrears of retirement benefit, as mentioned in the order dated 20.01.2015, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt/ production of a copy of this order. As regards payment of GPF amount is concerned, the petitioner may approach the respondent no.3 by filing a representation within a period of four weeks from today which shall be disposed of by the respondent no.3 within a period of two weeks thereafter and if the amount is found to be payable, the same shall be paid within a period of two weeks therefrom.
