In this case, the petitioners submit that the District Magistrate, Supaul, is not taking any decision with regard to promotion from Class-IV to Class-III post under 15% quota amongst Class-IV employees within the district of Supaul under the Bihar Collectoriate Clerical Cadre (Appointment and Service Conditions) (Amendment) Rules, 2014.
It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that the petitioners are Class-IV employees, are entitled to promotion under 15% quota as has been fixed for promotion from Class-IV to Class-III post of employees who has qualification of Intermediate, but till date promotion has not been given even though everything is ready, which is apparent from Annexure-A to the Counter Affidavit.
Let the District Magistrate, Supaul, complete the entire process of promotion and grant the benefit of promotion to the competent persons from Class-IV to Class-III post in accordance with law and issue necessary orders. The entire
Patna High Court CWJC No.19156 of 2017 dt.03-08-2018 3/3 process should be completed by the District Magistrate, Supaul, within three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
With the aforesaid observations and directions, this writ petition is disposed of.
