2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Jhajha P.S. Case No. 85 of 2022, lodged on 12.03.2022 under Sections 15(2), 15(4) of the Petroleum and Mineral Pipeline Act, 1962 as amended in 2011, section 3/4 of the Explosive Substance Act and section 3/4 of the Prevention of damage to Public Property Act, 1984.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the bail application of the petitioner was earlier rejected vide order dated 18.10.2022 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 35267 of 2022. Counsel further submits that the criminal antecedent of the petitioner is clean and he is in custody since 13.03.2022. Counsel also submits that vide order dated 16.02.2024, progress

4. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner and submits that from the said progress report, it transpires that the trial is expected to be concluded within three months.

5. In the present facts and circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner in connection with Jhajha P.S. Case No. 85 of 2022, pending before the learned Additional Sessions Judge-III, Jamui is hereby rejected.
