The admitted position is that petitioner's dues on account of salary due to his 4th pay revision has been paid during pendency of the instant writ application.
Petitioner's counsel, however, submits that he should be paid statutory interest on the due which has been paid
Patna High Court CWJC No.342 of 2018(4) dt.01-08-2022 2/2 belated.
On specific query, as to which statute of the State Government provides that such delayed payment is to be accompanied by any interest. There is no submission to support the said claim based on any statutory provision. For the purposes of claiming interest, it would be open to the petitioner to avail civil remedy in accordance with law.
