2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Beldour P.S. Case No. 143 of 2023, lodged on 24.06.2023, under Sections 341/323/386/504/506/34 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act and under Sections 25(1-b)A/26/35 of the Arms Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, FIR has been lodged against five named accused persons against whom there is an allegation that they have taken ransom amount of rupees one lac and also threatened the family members of the informant. When police reached then the petitioner has been apprehended by the villagers and brought them to police station. From the

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. There is one criminal case pending against the petitioner in which he is on bail. Petitioner is in custody since 25.06.2023. Charge sheet has already been submitted in this case. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that case has been filed under conspiracy but it is admitted position that from possession of the petitioner one country-made pistol has been recovered.

5. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

6. In this background, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. However, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail after framing of the charges. (Dr. Anshuman, J) Mkr./- U T
