The petitioner was granted bail by order dated 20.02.2018 on merits as well as on the assertion of the petitioner that he does not have any criminal antecedents. The order was passed subject to the verification of the criminal antecedents of the petitioner. Since the petitioner has criminal antecedents, the order dated 20.02.2018 could not be made effective. As a result, the petitioner has come up before this Court for modification of the aforesaid order to the extent that the submission made by the petitioner that he has clean antecedents be discounted for the present.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.58534 of 2018(2) dt.02-11-2018 2/2 This Court is afraid, the order cannot be modified on that account.

However, considering the nature of accusation against the petitioner, it will be open for him to approach this Court again for grant of bail, if so advised. With the aforesaid observation, this application stands disposed off.
