This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Biraul P.S. Case No.64 of 2023 registered for the offence punishable under Section 394 of the Indian Penal Code. 3.

Unknown criminals have looted an amount of Rs.10,00,000/- from the informant.

During investigation, the involvement of the petitioner has come. The petitioner is in custody since 15.06.2023. He is also accused in 13 more criminal cases and most of the cases are of similar nature, under the Arms Act and for extortion.

Considering the nature of allegation as well as the criminal antecedents of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant the petitioner privilege of regular bail.

Accordingly, this bail application is rejected. The District Judge, Darbhanga is directed to get the trial of all the cases registered against the petitioner expedited. (Sandeep Kumar, J) pawan/- U T
