Mr. Shailendra Kumar, APP ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ASHOK KUMAR PANDEY ORAL ORDER 25-09-2025 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned APP for the State.

2. The petitioners have prayed for regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 80(2), 238 (B) and 3(5) of the BNS.

3. The case of the prosecution is that the daughter of the informant namely, Nitu Kumari (deceased) was married to one Brajesh Manjhi. It is alleged that the deceased was subjected to cruelty on non-fulfillment of dowry demand. One bike and cash was being demanded. On 22.05.2025 the deceased has narrated to the informant that all the in-laws were talking

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.69423 of 2025(2) dt.25-09-2025 2/2 with each other that they will kill her. On the next day the informant received information that his daughter is no more.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners are in-laws and the husband has already surrendered. The main thrust of allegation is against the husband. The nature of allegation is general and omnibus. Learned counsel has further submitted that the petitioners are languishing in judicial custody since 24.05.2025.

5. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State has submitted that it is a case of over implication.

6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this court is inclined to enlarge the petitioners on bail. The above named petitioners are directed to be released on bail in connection with Marhowrah P.S. Case No. 342 of 2025 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each of them with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Saran at Chapra.
