The petitioners seek pre-arrest bail in connection with Pandaul P.S. Case No. 155 of 2019 (C.R.I. Case No. 1276 of 2019), registered under Sections 498A, 420, 323, 379 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code and 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
The accusation is of torturing of complainant for non-
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.67794 of 2019(2) dt.29-01-2020 2/2 fulfillment of demand of cash of rupees one lakh by her husband and in-laws and removing her by causing assault from matrimonial house.
Submission is that admittedly the complainant/opposite party no. 2 Kaiser Khatoon, is the wife of Md. Junaid, petitioners are in-laws of the complainant and they have falsely been implicated in this case.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioners, above named, in the event of surrender/arrest, within a period of four weeks from today, in connection with Pandaul P.S. Case No. 155 of 2019 (C.R.I. Case No. 1276 of 2019) shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Subdivisional Judicial Magistrate, Madhubani, or the successor Court subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Criminal Procedure Code.
