After hearing the parties and upon consideration of the counter affidavit, filed on behalf of Respondents No 2 and 5, the substantial grievance of the petitioner admittedly stands

Patna High Court CWJC No.624 of 2018(6) dt.12-09-2022 2/2 redressed since due payments have been made to the petitioner under communication dated 27.12.2019 by the Deputy General Manager (Administration) as well as communication dated 12.12.2018 issued by the District Manager, Bihar State Food Corporation, Bhagalpur (Annexures C and D).

In so far as payments for the period 30.07.2016 to 31.08.2016, the learned counsel for the Respondent-Corporation submits that necessary authorization has been issued by the Deputy General Manager (Administration) on 13.08.2022 by Memo No 7022. The learned senior counsel for the petitioner, however, submits that the authorization does not amount to payment. The petitioner also may have some other grievances. Considering the rival submissions, this Court would dispose of the writ petition with a direction to Respondent No 5 to ensure that payment, pursuant to the authorization dated 13.08.2022, be made within four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
