JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 21-11-2019 This is an application for grant of anticipatory bail in connection with Laheri P. S. Case No. 70 of 2019, disclosing offences under Sections 272, 278, 290, 295A, 153A, 429, 120B, 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 11(1-L) of Cattle Cruelty Act.
There is recovery of 80 quintals of beef from a truck, which was intercepted by the police and petitioner and other accused persons are named in the F.I.R.
Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that on the confessional statement of the driver of truck, he has been made accused in this case. He has no criminal antecedent. Considering the same, other co-accused persons have been granted privilege of anticipatory bail by this Court, vide order dated 19.09.2019 passed in Criminal Misc. No. 37050 of 2019.

Having heard both sides, considering the above submission, this application is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within six weeks, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Nalanda at Biharsharif, in connection with Laheri P.
