The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sheohar P.S. Case No. 285 of 2018, registered under Sections 413 and 414 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation is that in course of patrolling duty, informant received information about moving of two persons with theft motorcycle, the informant along with other Police personnel proceeded towards Chamanpur, where two persons were seen coming on motorcycle. On giving signal motorcycle was stopped and on inquiry, both disclosed their names Dadan Ram and Md. Alam (Petitioner). The apprehended persons did not produce any paper regarding ownership of the motorcycle and they disclosed that the said motorcycle is theft motorcycle.

No.74136 of 2019(3) dt.07-01-2020 2/2 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody, in present case, since 08.12.2018 and similarly situated co-accused Dadan Ram have already allowed privilege of bail on 01.07.2019 vide Criminal Miscellaneous No. 40116 of 2019.

Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sheohar in connection with Sheohar P.S. Case No. 285 of 2018. One of the sureties must be parents/close relative of the petitioner. (Rajendra Kumar Mishra, J) manish/- U T
