1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1(I) For issuance of an appropriate writ/s, order/s, direction/s, in the nature of MANDAMUS commanding and directing the respondent to compute and add the length of service of the petitioners rendered by them from the date 11.12.1990 till the date on which their service were regularised in the year 2015 and 2016 by the respondent state and accordingly provide them all service benefits which accrues to them till the present date and further the said length of service be computed for the purpose of pensionary benefits after their superannuation."
2. The learned counsel for the petitioners seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to approach the Municipal Commissioner, Muzaffarpur Municipal Corporation, Bihar, i.e. the respondent no.3 for redressal of their aforesaid grievances.
Patna High Court CWJC No.689 of 2024(2) dt.22-02-2024 3/3 Liberty so sought is granted.
3. It is needless to state that in case appropriate petition is filed, by the petitioner, before the Municipal Commissioner, Muzaffarpur Municipal Corporation, Bihar, within a period of two weeks from today, the same shall be considered, in accordance with law and a reasoned and a speaking order shall be passed, thereon, within a period of six weeks, thereafter.
4. The present writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
