The benefit under the faculty development programme is available in the scheme.

In the counter affidavit filed on behalf of respondents stand has been taken that this benefit is only available to teaching staff and Subject Matter Specialists are not the teachers and therefore they are not granted the benefit of teaching staff. On the query of the Court, learned counsel for the petitioner has not been able to point out any case of discrimination after the decision as contained in Annexure-A.

Patna High Court CWJC No.5371 of 2017(5) dt.10-07-2019 2/2 Under the aforesaid circumstance, the Court is not inclined to grant any indulgence in the matter. In case, the petitioner finds the case of discrimination, qua subject matter specialist, after Annexure-A, the petitioner shall be at liberty to raise this issue of discrimination before the appropriate forum, who shall address the issue of discrimination by a reasoned and speaking order within a maximum period of 30 from the date of filing of such representation.

With the aforesaid, the writ application stands disposed of.
