2. The petitioner has prayed for regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 384, 387, 120(B) and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The case of the prosecution is that one Rahul Sahani has made a call to the informant from his mobile number demanding Rs. 3,00,000/- as ransom.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the name of this petitioner has surfaced on the confessional statement of said Rahul Sahani. No call has been made by the petitioner and the

It has also been submitted that at the time of alleged occurrence, the petitioner was in custody. It has further been submitted that the petitioner has been framed in this case due to his criminal antecedent. Moreover, he is languishing in judicial custody since 13.05.2025.

5. Learned APP appearing for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer of regular bail and submitted that petitioner is having criminal antecedent of fifteen cases.

6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail in connection with Muffasil P.S. Case No. 277 of 2021 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, East Champaran at Motihari.
