Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Comaplint Case No. 1697 of 2017 registered for the offence punishable under sections 323, 324, 506, 307, 498A/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. As a matter of fact, he never raised any demand for dowry nor tortured the complainant. Nothing specific has been alleged against this petitioner. The allegations levelled are general and omnibus against all the family members. Earlier also, the complaint had filed a first information report on the same

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.61287 of 2018(2) dt.08-10-2018 2/2 allegations. As a matter of fact, the victim was suffering from mental illness and due to that petitioner had filed a case for divorce before the Family Court at Gaya. Petitioner is in custody since 03.08.2018.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gaya in connection with Complaint Case No. 1697 of 2017.
